ISLAMABAD: Hurriyet leaders, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash, Mohammad Abdullah Tari and Mohammad Khan Sopori, in occupied Kashmir, have condemned the puppet administration for unleashing mass arrest spree and slapping of draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) on people particularly the youth across the Valley.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash in a statement issued in Srinagar condemned the continued arrest of resistance leadership and human rights defender Khurram Parvez and described it frustration of the authorities. He said the forces have unleashed a reign of terror across the territory and the puppet administration has broken all records of tyranny which is shameful.
He said the jails and interrogation centres have been filled with innocent people and many have been shifted to outside the territory.
Mohammad Abdullah Tari in a statement issued in Srinagar warned the authorities of serious consequences if they do not stop the crackdown on the Hurriyet leaders and activists.
Condemning the crackdown on resistance camp, he also criticized the authorities for arresting the religious scholars and clerics across the territory. “This is interference in the religious matters of Muslims and cannot be tolerated, he added.
