ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif condemned the latest violation of Line of Control (LoC) by Indian troops and expressed deep sorrow over the lives lost.
According to PM’s Media Wing statement here on Monday, the PM expressed distress over Indian forces’continued violated of the ceasefire agreement at the LoC.
“The Indian Forces resorted to violating the ceasefire on LoC just to detract the world’s attention from the human rights abuse in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK), but we are fully capable of defending our country against any aggression,” emphasized the prime minister.
The PM paid high tribute to the Pakistani soldiers martyred in the recent violation. He said that the unarmed and innocent people of IoK have to face the unspeakable brutalities of the Indian forces.
“The Indian government fails to understand that there is alocal uprising against Indian occupation and taking the world’s attention of the issue is useless,” added the PM. Praying for the blessing of the martyred souls, the PM said that the sacrificed lives would always be remembered and held in the highest esteem.
