SHIKARPUR: Shikarpur police have organised a training programme for almost 200 scouts and volunteers under the command of SSP Shikarpur Umar Tufail in Police Headquarters. These scouts got civil defence training and were made aware how to identify terrorist elements around the processions like physically tackling a suicide bomber and keeping an eye on suspicious elements. The scouts will be deployed as inner and outer cordon of processions and Majalis to assist police and rangers in order to foil any sabotage activities in Shikarpur district.
